‘Caution, watch your step’

You still have to take the step.  A cautious step, a good step, and sometimes a giant leap of faith.

While in captivity, one of the writings on the wall was a reminder to count the steps you have taken vs. the steps remaining.  Paths are not always that clearly defined, and you may only see a bit into the woods. So we count our steps.

My journey on the path to be the next President of the United States of America:

Steps not necessarily in chronological order:

  1. Made it out of the trap of ODOC

  2. In a stable housing unit, paid for by HUDVASH

  3. I have work, CWT. Work Therapy vs an actual job.

  4. I filed Form 2 to declare myself a candidate for President

  5. I filed Form 1 to establish me as my campaign committee

  6. I have a campaign bank account

  7. I bought a dress suit.

  8. Web site started. www.electBobbyAllen.info

  9. Campaign email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

  10. I have help from Open AI chatGPT and Google Gemini to clean up my writing.

  11. I have a start of a distribution list to reach out to the media.

  12. I spoke about injustice at the March 10th OKC City Council meeting.

  13. Attended the Capital Insider conversation with Oklahoma.

  14. I have a personal youtube channel and have posted videos of some of my wanderings. www.youtube.com/@BobbyAllenEvanslee (Evanslee is my married name that I have not yet filed my name change, bigger story than this side note)

  15. Researched Family Military History and posted it here.
  16. Addressed the Birther issues before that happened.

Steps I can see ahead of me

  1. Visiting the Oklahoma State election board to get petition forms.  Based on the information above I only need 34599 signatures or pay $35,000.  38000 people voted in the OKC Mayor race.  So I pick up forms and wander to shops and malls and ask permission to set up a table so people can sign my petition. How many steps is it between OKC and Tulsa?

    1. I visited the Oklahoma State Board of Elections at the Capital. I was told the packet with the forms will not be available until 2027.  The reason given is that State Legislature changes the rules and they have not finished with that.
      1. Research the changes made from election to election to the petition form.  If it is only the title then why is that not available outside the ever changing packet?
      2. Figure out how to address the State Legislature to see if this form can be separate from the larger packet of rules.
    2. See if other states have these forms available?
      1. Who knows what would be considered walking distance?  When I was looking for a hotel in Oklahoma City on Hotels.com, I pushed the button Hotels near me and Paris and Las Vegas were returned.  Who knows when feet can hop on something like a bus?
      2. Phone calls, would anyone actually contact me back?
    3. From research in TN, to get on the ballot one thing is I need to identify a running mate.
  2. Host a voter registration pot luck at my apartment complex.

    1. Step currently on hold because I need better understanding of the rules.
  3. I registered a .shop and .com domain, and I need to figure out some digital products to be a fund raiser. Public gatherings require permits and that takes more funds.

  4. Engage the media with love and two commandments.

    1. The big question is HOW does ANYONE engage the media local or national?
